Larson

It was fun watching Larson trying to tame a extremely rough track last night. He drove about every line on the track to chase down Schatz. Donny car was very smooth compared to Larson. After the race Kyle said he liked a rough tracks because that is what he raced on when he was on the west coast. I hope the track gets better by Monday when the non wing sprints show up. They won't have that large billboard holding them down. I also seen Damion Gardner the Demon at the track. Does anyone know if he going to be racing next week?

Donny had the better quote "rather land in the other side of the fence than finish second"

Smooth tracks are boring. I thought it was fun to watch.

Uh.... unfortunately that happened a couple of times back in 2017 with Saldana and then Dale Blaney.

I understand what he meant but it was an odd choice of words.

As someone who has to pay the bills and fix everything, I will respectfully disagree with you…🤠

Unbelievable race on a much smoother track tonight.

Tell me that after paying the bills….and tell me that after last nights race.

I like wet tracks. Watching on hard slick tracks, it might as well be asphalt. Thursday was a little too rough. Fridays race was really good. Track had a little character, but the A was a very good race.

I agree with Throwback and Brent. I really don’t sympathize much with those who complain about having to spend money on their cars because something broke because of a rut. Cost of racing among other things is part of the reason we quit. You might not know this yet but racing can be very expensive! And dangerous! I’ve yet to see anyone forced to race at gun point. And again the racer, “we don’t care if the fans think it’s fun to watch, we might have to buy some more parts” also “how many thousand dollars for that 10 more horsepower?”

The smooth slick track on Saturday night produced the worst race. even though i think the track crew did a good job of bringing it back early

flagboy55 2/13/22 1:12 PM

Absolutely correct Mr Funk. The Friday race was great in part to the texture of the track. The ruts caused both mistakes and opportunities and was fabulous to watch. I hate smooth slick dirt tracks. If that’s your goal might I suggest pavement racing. The fact that Kyle doesn’t mind some character in racing surface is another reason I’m a big fan

Can't keep the teams on the road racing 100 nights a year with a heavy track every night. Way too hard on equipment.

Assuming that is accurate, it speaks volumes about what is not good about the current state of dirt racing. IMO

dsc1600 2/13/22 3:00 PM

The reason why it was a snoozer is because the bottom never came in to the level the top was. Rough or smooth, a one lane track is going to provide lousy racing.

You don't see the dirty sliders on wet tracks very often. I like 2 groove or more racing. Friday's race was really good
