Not knocking it, But this isn't what I thought it'd be. If anything it's mostly Powri/War racing for more $$ a few times.

Atomic date puts a wrench in some plans I had, but we'll see about that.

Re: Extreme Series Schedule

Xtreme Outlaw Sprints presented by Low-E Insulation 2022 Schedule:

Mon-Tues, Feb. 14-15: Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, FL) – $5,000/$10,000
Fri, April 8: US-36 Raceway (Osborn, MO) – $5,000
Sat, April 9: Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, MO) – $5,000
Fri-Sat, June 10-11: Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, MO) – $5,000/$6,000
Fri-Sat, June 24-25: Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, MO) – $5,000/$6,000
Fri, September 9: Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, IL) – $5,000
Sat, September 10: Spoon River Speedway (Canton, IL) – $5,000
Fri-Sat, October 7-8: Atomic Speedway (Waverly, OH) – $5,000/$6,000
Fri, October 28: TBA – $5,000
Sat, October 29: TBA – $10,000

Xtreme Outlaw Midgets 2022 Schedule:

Fri-Sat, April 1-2: Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, IL) – $4,000/$4,000
Mon-Tues, May 23-24: Millbridge Speedway (Salisbury, NC) – $4,000/$4,000
Sun, June 26: Jacksonville Speedway (Jacksonville, IL) – $4,000
Fri-Sat, August 5-6: Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, MO) – $4,000/$5,000
Fri-Sat, August 26-27: Davenport Speedway (Davenport, IA) – $4,000/$4,000
Thur, October 13: Port City Raceway (Tulsa, OK) – $5,500
Fri-Sat, October 14-15: I-44 Riverside Speedway (Oklahoma City, OK) – $4,000/$5,000

Other than the June 25th date for the sprints, I see no doubling up by these guys on any USAC dates. In fact, pretty much NONE of these dates/venues impacts USAC. All the kids in the sandbox are playing nice.

It is interesting, though, that the Extreme Sprints have October 28th & 29th as "TBAs". USAC Sprints have the same.

Had to figure with Casey Shuman running the deal he has a lot of contacts in that region. Personally I like how they have 2 day shows paired up so makes it feasible for guys to travel in. Not sure where they will get a show end of October unless they maybe add it to Charlotte the weekend before the World Finals.

For the advertised point fund that is pretty good for only 14 races. Going to be an interesting 2022.

Midgets at Farmer City for $4,000 to win with the World Of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned "Illini 100" and Modifieds. Hell yeah.

Re: Extreme Series Schedule

They're playing nice with USAC, but at least on the midget side, they are outright stealing the Pevely show and the October Oklahoma dates from POWRi. Is this going to be a co-sanction?

@CaseyShuman
Appreciate the tracks, teams, sponsors, and other series cooperation that are involved with this opening season of the Xtreme Outlaw Series. There are definitely more exciting things to come over the next couple weeks! Volusia is 46 days away

Re: Extreme Series Schedule

What it makes me think is that USAC should have been at some of those tracks themselves. I guess WoO wields enough influence with those venues to get dates that USAC cant.

Re: Extreme Series Schedule

Conflicting USAC dates across all divisions to save everyone from having to search it out.

April 1st USAC Sprints Lawrenceburg IN vs Xtreme Midgets Farmer City, IL

April 8th-9th USAC Midgets Kokomo vs Xtreme Sprints US-39/Lake Ozark, MO

June 10th-11th USAC Midget Week Gas City/Kokomo vs Xtreme Sprints Lake Ozark, MO

June 24th USAC Silver Crown Madison Speedway, WI vs Xtreme Sprints I-55 Pevely, MO

June 25th USAC Sprints Wilmot Raceway, WI vs Xtreme Sprints I-55 Pevely, MO

June 26th USAC Sprints Angel Park Sun Prairie, WI vs Xtreme Midgets Jacksonville, IL

August 6th USAC Silver Crown Toledo, OH vs Xtreme Midgets I-55 Pevely, MO

Aug 26th-27th USAC Sprints Kokomo, IN vs Xtreme Midgets Davenport, IA

Sept 9th USAC Midgets Sweet Springs, MO vs Xtreme Sprints Jacksonville, IL

Sept 10th USAC Midgets Sweet Springs, MO vs Xtreme Sprints Spoon River Canton, IL

Oct 7th USAC Midgets Wayne County, IL vs Xtreme Sprints Atomic Speedway, OH

Oct 8th USAC Midgets Haubstadt, IN vs Xtreme Sprints Atomic Speedway, OH

As Pitdad pointed out it seems to take some shows from POWRi in the heart of their territory. :8:

It would appear that with the conflicting dates of midgets and pavement Silver Crown cars there’s only a couple guy’s that this will affect, who run all 2-3 divisions in USAC for points. Grant, Leary since he’s running Pavement Crown Cars now, Thorson, Seavey, Axsom are ones that I can think of, if they stick to their usual deals. It will be interesting to see if any dates conflict with MSCS, their schedule is not out yet.

Yea, looks like more of an "attack" on POWRI than on USAC...

Re: Extreme Series Schedule

Pure speculation on my part, but if the endgame is WRG taking over USAC in a friendly merger, it makes sense for them to largely leave USAC alone in their territory and try to expand non-winged racing into other areas where USAC doesn't have a foothold, largely places where POWRi has operated. That way, when and if a merger took place, you'd have Indiana, California and now Missouri, Oklahoma etc.. where you may have grown your customer base.

I think when you see the POWRi schedules of their different series the cooperation between the two will be pretty apparent.

I hope so. Thank-you for posting this...otherwise it doesn't look good...

BUT powri shoulda beat them to releasing a sched...at least a preliminary one...

Either way, I hope to be at a couple of the USAC races in Wi!

Just saw the POWRi schedule on FB and the 4/8-9 events, the 6/10-11 events, the 6/24-25 events and 9/9-10 events on the Xtreme schedule will be co-sanctions with POWRi. So only 4 of the Xtreme Outlaw sprint car series races will be stand alone events. 2 at Volusia and 2 at Atomic.

It makes a lot of sense for the Xtreme Series to play nice with USAC and POWRI so they will have enough recognizable cars and stars to get everyone here to BUY A SUBSCRIPTION TO DIRTVISION.

If I understand that correctly, "co-sanction" means a POWRi race with $10,000 to win?
Thats good for all concerned, right?:23:
