Contratulations are in order for Dean Mills, videographer extrodinaire and contributor to this board from time to time. I just read where he was named the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame's Media Member of the Year. I hope that he gets a chance to enjoy it.

Yes indeed, congratulations to Dean for winning the Non-Winged Media Member of the Year award from the National Sprint Car Poll.

It isn't easy to be a "media person." You often spend long hours working by yourself, and you sometimes wonder if anybody even cares about what you're doing. These awards are a very nice way to be recognized, and as time passes they become even more meaningful to the recipient.

Since relocating here a few years ago, Dean has worked hard to record the happenings of our sport. Thanks, Dean, for all the great video you've provided us, and congratulations on your award! :applaud:

It is really appreciated here in the racing "outback" of Colorado. I always look forward to your video after following the live updates here on IOW and live streaming is a real added bonus as well.
Keep up the good work and I hope we meet at some racetrack done the road.
