Rock Crest Raceway
 

New user here and have some sprint car buddies that told me about this website. Rock Crest Raceway (formally known as Twin Cities Raceway) has previously been bought out and has underwent a major promoter change. Located at 445 North Cr 25 East North Vernon Indiana. (812) 216-7544. If anyone is familiar with Brownstown, Jim Price is the new track owner and Rob Wilson is the new promoter. That being said we are hosting 2 more races for this year. October 1st and October 16th. Both nights will be racing 410 non wing. October 1st will be $1200 to win $200 to start. We have a Facebook page and you are more than welcome to call the number with any questions! Gates open at 3:30pm drivers meeting at 6 pm hot laps 6:30pm Racing 7pm. Thank you guys we’re excited for next year, we have some big changes coming. Spread the word as we will have more sprint shows next year.

It has been a lot of years since I have been there; however I do not think that is the case. I think is a county line road if I am not mistaken. Could have changed though. Wish them the best. First track I ever raced at.

Historically the road was called Rock Crest road. That’s how we came up with the name. We’re doing everything we absolutely can to ensure the best track for both drivers and fans. We know we have a lot of work ahead of us, but we want to turn the track around and make it fun and safe like it was in the glory days. New name, fresh start, better track. Hope to see everyone there. Big things to come next year!

Also, there will be NO tire rule for these next two races. Due to the circumstances (tire shortage) however next year we will have a tire rule.

I really hope this works out for you running sprints. In the past I have seen some great sprint racing there, the Sprint Week shows were always good racing.
I will be out of town for your 2 shows this fall, but will looking forward to next summer.

Saw a great show there years ago, it was sprint week with TQ’s. Both were awesome!

Think I'll head down. Hope some cars show up this time Know JJ Hughes is driving the Hurst Bros 70. Never know when it will be the last live race to see due to weather etc. Probably sit up in four.

Hopefully out of work early, if so will surely go. ( May be a case of fakers flu will set in about 2, and magically disappear around 4)

Wanted to make it up there tonight, got little less than halfway there and had hauler issues and were forced to turn around, definitely bummed I missed it but glad the track is getting revamped. looking forward to racing there in the future

I think JJ Hughes got fourth. not positive though, Track stayed good. two grooves. Sprint feature done at nine fifty. Home at Kings Island at Eleven thirty.

Alright guys, first off from everyone here at Rock Crest Raceway THANK YOU! 18 sprints and we want to thank everyone who showed up and helped promote this race. We hope the track was what you guys wanted and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. We have one goal and that is simply to improve. Always. Congratulations to Landon Simon and his crew. Heck of a job to pick up the first inaugural sprint win and trophy. We had a fast time of 14.44! We can’t thank all of you guys on this forum for sharing information and giving good positive feedback. You guys really are great. Racing one more time on October 16th and will be running 410 non wings again. If you couldn’t make it you guys can tune into Dirt2Media and catch the rerun and see what we’re working with here. Thank you for having the Sprints back out. The track was in the best race shape I've seen in a long time. Keep it tacky like that and more cars will come.

Thank you so much for showing up JJ. We worked our butts off working on that track to get it as smooth and tacky as possible. We just can’t thank you guys enough for coming and spreading the word. Really hope to see you guys all come back. I think we will have some big things to look forward to next year.

If Mother Nature is kind we'll make the trip,plus some of the racing families may be in attendance as well.

Best track surface I’ve been on there in quite some time. Good work, show was ran very smooth and early night!! Good work
