To Ron’s defense they use to just play that song over the Memorial Day Weekend race. Then they started playing it what seems like every race. Maybe this time they didn’t because they got a late start with the weather and more was on the way. Personally I think once during Memorial Day is fine. Please don’t bash my patriotism or Ron’s if you don’t know us. In the words of I Love Dirt Track Racing, God Bless the USA and the freedoms we enjoy!

So three of you have lied now. Care to continue?
Greenwood was born in South Gate, California, a few miles south of Los Angeles. After the separation of his parents, he grew up near Sacramento[3] on the poultry farm of his maternal grandparents. At the age of seven, he started singing in church. In 1969, he joined the Chester Smith Band and had his first television appearance. A short time later, he worked with the country musician Del Reeves. Also raises millions for charitable foundations. |
Well what started as a thread about a sprintcar race in Indiana has gone off, WAY off course to now being about the nationality of a country music singer. Bizarre.

Re: Mscs 5/15/21
Yup, I was just glad you all got to see a sprint car race. :)

Didn’t realize the only song you can stand up for is the National Anthem. My bad. Can’t we all just get along and enjoy the Kodak moments that this great nation allows us to have? God bless the USA (standing as I type this) 🇺🇸

Re: Mscs 5/15/21
Wow! I didn't think my innocuous comment would create such a firestorm. I am ready to move on to the more serious topic of racing and hoping that we have good weather for the rest of the month of May!:)

Re: Mscs 5/15/21
Agreed, Was just as out of line about complaining about your complaint.
See ya at the track's |
Re: Mscs 5/15/21
Now for a serious complaint... I wish every track would count down the laps and not up. I sometimes forget if the feature is 25, 30 or 40 laps and my pea size brain would appreciate a countdown.:D
