Now it pays more to start a WoO race than to get 5th at a USAC sprint race.

And it cost $15 bto $20 more to get in to a WOO. I would mind paying more for USAC because the racing is so much better. And the midget are a better show then sprints. JMO

It’s great that they’re raising the purse. My question is do they also raise the cost of the show to the track? We all know who’s going to pay for that if they do. My hope is with what seems to be a swell in the popularity of dirt track racing that series sponsorship will fill the gap. I’m not optimistic

I"m with you, I"d pay more for USAC show either one sprints or midgets. :D

I’m sure DirtVision revenues are helping.

Can we get them back on regular TV?

I don't expect any groundbreaking actions to taken by USAC. That being said, I wish they could find more tracks willing to do Double Headers (Sprints and Midgets). This is USAC's ace in the hole that wing series pale in comparison when it comes to quality and action!

Yeah those double headers are a big ace. usac needs to do something to keep some of their drivers. Not a big WoO fan but it seems they know how to treat the ones that stay loyal. I think a lot of usac money could go to racers instead of administration.

I've just watched the WG National Open on CBS Sports Network last weekend.

A standard USAC PURSE hasn't increased near enough over the years to offset the expense!! WoO has done their job & continues to give guys the Payouts, they deserve!! This is coming from someone that has seen it from both perspectives!!
