Re: Chili bowl ticket for sale
Did you get your tickets in the mail? Because I haven't and ordered mine in April and still don't have them.
And it will probably be canceled. Shouldn't sell something you don't have. |
I agree that it is bad business to sell something that you don’t have in your possession. Very shady!

Re: Chili bowl ticket for sale
take it easy guys I am sure it is just an oversight. We have always received tickets in the spring so its not a stretch that some of us think we actually have them. I just talked to some friends the other day who assumed they had their tickets. I said are you sure?

When I phoned about my tickets I was assured it was going to happen and they are behind sending them out
|
They have been using that company line since August or before. They have had plenty of time to have sent the tickets out many times over. There is more going on here than they are letting on to. Time will tell whether there is a race and then whether it is run at 100% capacity. I truly feel sorry for everyone that they have left hanging.

I really don’t understand how there is almost no correspondence on the matter. Anyone who is awake knows that the event is in jeopardy especially after they cancelled St Louis. We all know the circumstances under which we’re operating these days, why not let fans and racers get a clue as to what’s going on. I mean this, for some is a week of their life as well

Curious, what's the difference from the Shootout being run without restrictions to the CB with 25%. I don't get it. Same building. Different week. Makes zero sense to me. Someone educate me.

Re: Chili bowl ticket for sale
One of the main differences between the ShootOut and the Chili Bowl is that the ShootOut does not sell reserved seats. Therefore it would be much easier to limit attendance to whatever the figure is set at. Once they sell the number of general admission tickets to get to the limit the "No Vacancy" sign is turned on and no more tickets are sold.
There will be a lot less disappointment that way then if you can only allocate 3750 tickets to 15,000 reserved ticket holders. I still think there is a lot they are not telling us. |

Looks like its limited to 25%. https://speedsport.com/sprints-midge...-restrictions/

I would suggest buying the apparently unrestricted pit pass and sit where ever you want. there will be plenty of empty seats. Or maybe not if they sell enough pit passes.
