Well, first the Kings Royal and now this. Won't be surprised if other big events get moved to 2021 as well.

so there will be 2 Knoxville nationals next year. one for the postponement and one for 2021, or did 2020 get cancelled.

openwheelfan1 6/30/20 5:10 PM

I guess technically, the Nationals for 2020 are cancelled. The note that they are being postponed means that the 60th Nationals, which were to occur this year will be held instead in 2021.

Good news is they are still running a 3 day Woo show that nationals weekend at Knoxville and paying 50k to win and 3k to start on the last night. The kicker is limiting to 7,000 fans a night but seeing how so many people already have travel reservations I look for those shows to sell out immediately. Better than nothing.

Cancellations are not Postponements unless you intend to run two next year.

Figures, I had tickets for the last 2 nights. Was going to be my first time there. :15:

Postponed is a nice way of saying we’re keeping your money for a year

Only the best for our racing family. Let's have lunch Saturday and head to the track and have a beer under the grandstands and enjoy all the great things that we all love . Great times and another great racing road trip and probably a couple of Kodak moments. God bless America. Thanks.

How do you get to Iowa without going thru Illinois?

Well, you can take I-69 out of Indy thru Kentucky in to Tennessee, cross over the Mississippi at Dyer county TN, and pick up I-55 in the bootheel of Missouri. Take I-55 to the South Side of St. Louis and then you have a couple of options to get to Knoxville.

That route will only be about 300 miles out of your way, each way!!
