USAC East Coast sprint car series

Re: USAC East Coast sprint car series
Really enjoy this series here in the east. The guys that are racing it continue to improve every time they run. The leadership needs to step up over the winter and provide a more solid, feasible schedule for next year. Too many long breaks in between events. The teams will improve even more with consistent track time and the fans will come when they see more events. Can’t tell you how many times I heard people say when do these guys race? The last show was good but they disappeared for a while. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so let’s hope the winter season provides time to strengthen the schedule. This is the only real nonwing racing we have out here so I’m hopeful it can flourish a little. Congrats to Steven Drevicki on his second title. He is smooth and consistent. Great job by his whole team. Fingers crossed for an even better 2020.

Re: USAC East Coast sprint car series
Maybe adding a race or two at Path Valley would be a good move for next year’s schedule. Kutztown (Action Track) and Lanco are pretty small but might be worth consideration also.

Are you trying to say that the leadership is turning races down?

Re: USAC East Coast sprint car series
The leadership needs to attend more 305 / 358 / 360 races in Central PA and recruit some additional racers.....only in the movies the saying"if you build it they will come"......in the real world, you gotta work to develop a new division. booking races is great but what keeps you getting repeat booking and new tracks is a good solid field of cars.

Re: USAC East Coast sprint car series
41 different drivers raced with USAC east, they averaged 19.63 cars over the 11 races they were able to run. Lost three to rain.
I like to see a race or two with the Wingless Super Sportsman several of the drivers race in both, also be a cool program if they ran with the USAC midgets on their eastern swing at a couple of the bigger tracks too. |
Re: USAC East Coast sprint car series
Thank you to everyone who has supported the series this season. It was one of great growth and improvement. The series is working very hard to have more races next season and the leadership is working hard. Contradictory to what some on here would like to think or "think they know" about.

I don’t envy you trying to book races when the super sportsman run for half the purse and your drivers support them.

Thanks again for the interest. Its obvious that you have an issue with how things are being done, but the series will carry on and have an even better year next season!! Any personal issue you may have with anyone related to the series and your tirades on multiple social networking websites only does more damage than the good you think it may. See you at the track in 2020.

Just a curious question. Isn’t BOSS and FAST run by the same person? Wouldn’t that be conflicted work? In my humble opinion trying to kill the winged series isn’t the best way to recruit drivers and sponsors to your new series.
