GOOD RACE LAST NIGHT HOCKETT ON THE CUSHION AND GARDNER ON THE POLE AND CARDLEY ON THE POLE ALL 3 LEAD IT! THEN JESS GOT INTO THE WALL OFF TWO HARD WITH THE RR AND MAYBE BENT SOMETHING AND SLIPPED BACK TOO 4TH! AND CARDLEY THEN GOT BY TO WIN IT! TONY JONES HAD A TUFF NITE BLOWING A LR IN THE HEAT RUNING 2ND AND THEN STARTED 4TH IN THE B AND WAS UP TO 2ND AND FELL BACK TO 5TH! MISSING THE FEATURE! BOUT 600 PEOPLE VERY POOR CROWD! HOPE THEY GET A CROWD TONIGHT! THIS IS A TRACK FACT!:checkered:

Steve Kinser drove it at a USAC race at THAT with a broken schock. His 1st USAC start I think.

Two things! The traffic challenges in Southern California. You have nothing like it in Indiana. Weekday freeway traffic can make a 40 mile trip into a 2 1/2 hour excursion (and, it keeps getting worse). Friday was also Halloween. We only had about 20 kids in the stands. The Thursday and Friday crowds were what we expected.

Sorry, have not posted on here before and this was trying to quote to the question about the 600 fans and Indiana could do better.
