Re: Kokomo Speedway
All you iRacing fans:
Not only will there be racing on the track this Saturday at Kokomo, FANS can actually race (Live) on iRacing at the track (next to pit area) with Tim's Dirt Track Simulators and the top 4 for the night will battle it out and the winner will walk away with 10,000 pennies and a check! Good Luck :23: |
Re: Kokomo Speedway
We have had several people call to see what drivers outside of the top 10 in All Star points were going to be racing on Saturday so we thought since a lot of fans have been asking we would put it on here too!.
I am sure the ASCoC know more, but below are the drivers that we have heard from so far. Rico Abreu Tony Stewart Jac Haudenschild Hunter Schuerenberg Cory Eliason Gio Scelzi Silver Crown racer, David Byrne Ryan Smith Ayrton Olsen Ryan Ruhl Clinton Boyles Tyler Thomas |
Haud is 9th in Points currently. Everyone else is outside the Top 10. Haudenschild is scheduled to run Jamie Miller's cars in the All Star and WAR Non-Wing portions! First Non-Wing bullring show for, "The Wild Child" since the early 90s probably. I'm not sure if he has run a Non-Wing 410 show since Winning The Mopar Million in 2003. It's gonna be a "Barnburner" whether we get it in today or Sunday! Can't wait!

Hoping the weather holds off. I cannot make it Sunday but I can on Saturday. |

Re: Kokomo Speedway
With more rain last night & no sun yet to dry things out, its unfortunate that we have to cancel. The push off lane, the infield of the track is just not able to get run in and with more water in the pit area/lots it would just be a muddy situation. The O'connors have done everything they could and wanted to give the drivers the best track they could and with all the water in the infield there would not have been a bottom.
We will post an address later on where to send your wristbands to get a refund. Thanks again to those who did come to support the event, safe travels home. |
Tonight's race has be called. Due to rain last night and the rain from yesterday As Well. Muddy pits plus no bottom.
|
thanks for trying!!
|
I ordered 6 tickets but only picked up 4 Saturday before the rain came. The other 2 had my friends name on them and he didn't arrive till after the race was cancelled so was planning on getting them today so I don't have those. How can I send them in if I never got them?? Should have name with credit card info on how many tickets were purchased so is it possible just to put money back on the credit card?

As many shows don't have one. Great effort on everybodys part. Unfortunately just wasn't meant too be. Hopefully this event will be considered again next year. |

Since the series is at Tri-State next week, will Cummins get a chance at the Bell Bonus?? Or will it go by the wayside? |
That will be looked at as an option yes.

The way Kyle has been running at Haubstadt this season, he would probably rather the race been at Fairbury as scheduled.
|
Yes, that's true, but his experience there is second to none! He and Mark helped me getting my set-up & driving style fine tuned for those super tight turns & long straights. It made us very competitive after only a couple times running there. It's a unique animal at Haubstadt. You either love it or hate it. I love it now, but didn't use to!
