Jason Soudrette Memorial Updates
Unfortunately we are unable to attend tonight's races. Hope someone can post updates. TIA.

I will do the best I can this evening.
Beautiful and somewhat hot here. I actually had some raindrops falling as I rode over. It is fitting on a bittersweet evening. Don't worry, the chance of a rainout is zilch. I'm sure Jason will see that it doesn't. Let's go racing. |

Leary displaces Brady Short for the most sprint car wins on the Lawrenceburg 3/8th mile. Leary also cut a tire in the final lap. Good thing the race wasn't 26 laps long. Heck of a show. |

Thanks for the updates Gregg.

Thank you for the updates!!!

Nice, spirited run by Dickie Gaines! Would've been outstanding to see him roll into victory lane in the Soudrette car. Second place isn't bad by any means though.
A salute goes out to the track crew- the track was in great shape and provided a good show. |
Re: Jason Soudrette Memorial Updates
Ain't got much to add on the sprint cars other than the second and third heats were two of the best heats I've seen both for first and third. Hard clean racin!
Mod feature was off the charts with Shornick taking the lead with two too go over Hamilton who's been almost unbeatable except for the Stricker Car who finished top five as well. I had a great time with my Uncle and adopted Mom (His Wife) Some pizza, drinks and a nice sunset. Thanks for all the teams, crew etc for putting on another great evening at the Burg. |
Re: Jason Soudrette Memorial Updates
I just wanted to add, If that's the type of racing we get from qualifying. Lets do i every week. Just some fantastic heat racing and while Leary was kinda in his own zone in the feature. The battle for second and third was ferocious the whole race.
Despite the results JJ Hughes enters rocket ship status. he was eating cars and spiting them out in the heat and hung tough in the top five in the feature until late. Next up, Dick Gaines Memorial Aug 18h! |
