Friends, family and followers. This morning, after we got back from Tristate, Dad stated that he was wasn't feeling well and that he was having some chest pains, so Mom took him to the ER to be checked out. It turns out that he's had a lite heart attack and will be having a quintuple bypass surgery first thing in the morning. The doctors said there wasn't any heart damage and that his heart is strong and healthy and that it'll be an easy surgery. He is awake in good spirits and laughing.
We ask if y'all would include and keep him and the surgeon in your prayers tonight for a successful surgery tomorrow.
Will have updates tomorrow afternoon.

Prayers sent to the Ambrose family, this is nothing new to Ronnie, about 10 years ago, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he was opened up about like this will be, and nothing found. Talk about a tough ole bird, hang in there Ron, we'll be praying for you old buddy. Bob & Peg.

Dad is out of surgery. Doc said everything went as planned and that Dad's doing great! He's in recovery and waiting to be moved back to his room around 1pm.

It wasn't like they didn't know where to look, the tracks were still there from the last time, Ron and I joked about the last one, just put in a zipper, be careful what you wish for. Good luck with this one, Ron, hope to see you soon. Bob

!!UPDATE!!
First we'd like to thank everyone for all of your prayers! It really means a lot!!
Dad is in a regular room now and has been awake since 4am and sitting in a chair for most of the day. He walked the distance of 4 rooms this morning and just got done doing another 4 room walk this evening. He was able to stand up on his own which surprised the nurses. He says other than being really really sore and it hurting when he does his breathing exercises and walking, he's glad and thankful to be able to open eyes and see another day.
