Thank you Kokomo Speedway

Thanks goes out to the Kokomo Speedway as without them we would not have a stage to do what we love to do.

Thanks to all the people that came to the autograph session huge thanks to the drivers, crew chiefs and owners that came out to share memories from the historic past of the Kokomo Speedway.

Can you believe Gary Fisher came from Texas and Jesse Fordyce from Florida just to be a part of the first annual Kokomo Speedway Racers Reunion ?

Thank you to the Dave Trine family @ Choo Choo McGoo's for providing dinner for the entire group of people. 816 East Markland Av. Stop in and get a discount just by showing a ticket stub or pit pass from the Kokomo Speedway as they went way above and beyond our expectations.

Thank you Culligan Water for donating water to everyone we really appreciate the kindness.

Thank you to Bob Aeschliman at Celebrations for the tables and chairs so everyone could be comfortable.

I realize this is an open wheel site but Josh ask a bunch of Stock Car drivers to attend, Glen Gamblin we thank you very much for being there and we hope to see you next year as the fans loved talking with you.

Finally Thank you Josh and Shannon for getting this all put together. I would say they worked hard but they had way too much fun putting it together to call it work.

Tell them you love em every chance you get as tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.

The races were awesome as always and home at a decent time what more could you ask for.

Again thanks to everyone that made this a huge success

Thanks to everyone that put this together. What a trip down memory lane to see and talk to so many of the folks who had a part in making the history of wingless racing in Indiana. What an enjoyable experience and hopefully it can become a yearly event to honor and recognize the many veterans of the sport that we love. Thanks again to everyone involved and thanks to Kokomo for hosting this event.

And thanks to Kokomo for another fine night of racing on a well groomed racing surface and thanks to all the current drivers for a great night of feature action.

Well it's after 4 on Monday and we are still receiving calls about the Reunion that Josh, Shannon and all the drivers, crew chiefs and owners put together.

People loved it and had a great time, the really cool thing is the Kokomo Speedway loved how it turned out so as far as we know there will be a Kokomo Speedway Reunion in 2019.

My good friend Bones said it best last night it went something like this. " I watched a bunch of hardcore race drivers walk in like nobody's and when it was over I watched a bunch of heroes with their heads held high and smiles on their faces go to their seats"

The Kokomo Speedway made this possible Josh and Shannon made it happen the drivers, crew and owners helped make it fun and you the fans made it one of the most awesome nights ever at the Kokomo Speedway.

Again thank you all

I saw you with the roof. I would have introduced myself to you if I had known. Was really cool to see some of the guys who made me the fan of the sport I am today. It was great to see the smiles on those guys faces.
I almost forgot. The show was over in time for me to get home and watch the jump from Las Vegas.

Was definitely hoping it'd be an annual thing. How sweet to see so many great racing people together in one place. I'm sure it'll be bigger next time. What a treat for fans and participates alike. Maybe vintage cars could be part of it too. Thanks Josh and Shannon and Kokomo speedway!

2 questions: 1.) does anybody else see the #79 on something random like a softball jersey and think “oh, that’s Gary Fisher.”?

2.) With the nostalgia and excitement of having all those heroes in one place, anybody keep looking to see if the Castle Auto Parts camaros were gonna make the call for the hobby stock race?

what a FANTASTIC event! Mr. Bookmiller and fellow colleagues, time is the one thing we can’t control and you gave us fans a piece of yours. THANK YOU!

We had some vintage cars lined up but unfortunately it fell through. We are already building a list for next year as far as drivers and what we need to do! Thanks for coming!

I agree as the #79 is stuck in our head, as far as Stock Cars Josh invited a bunch of drivers to attend for the fans, Huge Thank You to Glen Gamblin for understanding this was for the fans and nothing else. You were a great asset to the reunion and we look forward to having you back next year. We had hoped the for a good showing as the fans love the stock cars and to be honest they helped build the Kokomo Speedway to what it is today.

Thank you very much and tell them you love em when you can

What a great job well done by the Spensers and the Kokomo speedway. This is why I drive down from Michigan every chance I get. I saw a 66 numbered shirt today, I wonder 66J!!! That's a number I will never forget.

When I worked at Kokomo in the 1990's for Kent Evans, Glen was always one of the good guys in the pits.
