Weather is looking better for the race tonight. Wing, non wing, modifieds so there is something for everyone. With the track loosing it's Sprint week date and Midget week raining out, it would be nice to see a full house to support the track as they are doing a great job trying to keep the track alive.

Our racing family's our heading that way. Hopefully that they don't tell us to turn around until then we will be in the house tonight. Thanks.

Good to see Gas City get a Sept. 7 USAC sprint car date. Jerry along with the track prep crew has done a great job and are well deserving of that date. Car counts have been good and all that is needed is fan support. Been some really good racing there. Looking forward to both winged and non-winged sprint cars tonight.

Who is the nonwing drivers at the track?

Kory Crabtree, Clinton Boyles, etc.

My pickup truck got beat to death by golf ball size hail on the way there. Turned around and went home when I realized storm was going same way as me, to the track.

So, did they cancel after the downpour or are they trying to work the track?

Driving back to Gas City in my hail dented pickup.

Boyles over Tyler Hewitt in feature. Cottle wrecked trying to pass Boyles. Mad Max Stanbough won wing race, Hannigan was 4th.

What about the Winged 360 vs Non-Wing 410 Dash finish?

I don’t think that happened. The 410 finish was Clinton Boyles, Tyler Hewitt, Kyle Robbins, Tony DiMattia, Tony Main, white 32 and Aaron Davis.

Everyone involved with getting the track ready after that downpour , Thank you and Jerry thanks for not giving up . We need more promoters you .

I appreciate Jerry's efforts as well! He gave up on a C.R.A. show when he was promoting Terre Haute in the early 90s, after a very brief shower, but he learned from that and I applaud his dedication on this event at Gas City! Earl Baltes, was the King of Dedication on Rain delays and Never cancelling without working hard at it first!

Really, I remember Earl cancelling at the threat of rain for USAC. If the event already started though, he'd do hs damndest.

Good, cause there were half a dozen times I headed that way only to have Staab, Martini and others passing me going back south.

Before Cell Phones and net of course, that was my turn around notice.
