My guess is that TSR has moved up to the new "Water Tunnel" testing program, giving better data than a mere "wind tunnel".

Looks a little like what happened to Mellenberndt after that nasty tumble a while back. The video was circling around on here somewhere. He flipped out of the park and came to rest in an are that they looked to be doing some excavating and it had taken on a lot of water where they were digging.

I was told that they fired the car off took and easy lap around the building. when they went to make the turn to the right they realized 6inches of stagger was not going to work turning right. thought better straighetened it up turned the fuel off the jolt was enough to put it in the pond :rolling:applaud::rolling:applaud::Steer

The first picture I thought it was the pond at Paragon. Back in the day ('70s) I saw a few stock cars go in the drink.

I was thinking the same thing. I have seen a few sprint cars in that pond before.

my question is how deep did they get it in the drink. this photo was definatly an afterthought so it would be interesting to see just how far into the water it got.....

Re: New photo of the day?

They should try to get a sponcership from Ranger boats or Evinrude or Mercury. The moral of this storey is , Don't use a sprint car to go fishing or you will scare off the fish. Have you ever seen a fish laugh????

that wouldnt suprise me.......if you arent familiar with the area where stewarts shop is...it is one of those new developments that are springing up everywhere and just like the neighborhoods there are retention ponds all over the place that are usually very deep.....
