ok,,it's now official, Brian Clauson is on both the NASCAR Sprint Cup entry list for the Bank of America 500 with the big boys this weekend in a Sebates#40 car at Lowes Motor Speedway, entry list link below,

and he will be doing double duty in the NASCAR Nationwide Series also at Lowes in the Dollar General 300 as he is now 1 point out of the points lead for the Nationwide Raybestos Rookie Of The Year Award.

hope he does great becuase im sure that is where he wants to be, but i would enjoy watching him even more on the dirt in a sprinter. good luck BC

There are 47 entries so only 4 will go home. BC is usually pretty decent at qualifying so his chances of making it in look pretty good.

Also, actually in the Nationwide Series, I should have said BC needs 1 point to tie and 2 points to take the lead for the Rookie honors.

They couldn't have picked a better weekend for us dirt track sprint fans. Those of us that want to watch one of the "old" :rolling dirt trackers make his first Sprint Cup appearence should be able to. :thumb

No NASCAR took his chance away. They have shown time and time again how anxious they are to cancel qualifing, but they always seem to have plenty of time for practice. Check the radar. There isn't a speck of green within 100 miles of Concord. Doesn't matter, they want the holy 12 to start up front together.
