smack down camping

Saw on the Kokomo website that you can set up for camping today but no spaces can be saved after Wednesday. I would have to imagine there won't be any left by Friday afternoon. And if that is indeed the case, are there any other options for Friday arrivals?

Last year you could but it will be slim picking. I am worried about Wednesday at 5 myself. Last year I had to camp on the back stretch and it worked out perfectly.

Was just out there. There are quite a few already there. Still quite a few left. They have added parking on the backstretch probably over 100 spaces.

After eating off the grill for a few nights, it's nice to order a pizza and let someone else do the work.
Any recommendations on who delivers a good pizza to the speedway?

My very favorite Is Martinos just down the road on Morgan, but they don't deliver. Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Papa Johns all deliver. Might try Pizza Junkies 765 457 5555.

Thank you I was going to get a pizza one night also.

If anyone needs cab service I recommend Miami Cab 765 453 6504

Thanks for the recommendation Brent. Will be trying out Martinos as I want something besides a national chain. Had Yogi's pizza last year and didn't care for it.

if you go to martinos you have to try the Italian roast beef with peppers and cheese.

Martino's is the bomb! There pizza is excellent and there sandwich's are delish! Friendly service, nice clean place. Family owned my favorite place to eat when in Kokomo!:):6::32:

Just a heads up. The insurance man was out at Kokomo today. He made it very clear that there would be no atv's any where but the pits. He made it clear that it was a zero tolerance, so this will be strictly enforced. I never understood why anyone needed one in the parking lot anyway. Please use common sense folks.

Just wanted to remind everyone of the no atv's outside of the pit area. This will be strictly enforced

If you're looking for somewhere good to eat lunch one day then check out The Tin Plate in Elwood just about 35 miles from the track. They are awesome guys and a big supporters of local sprint car racing. We are happy to have them on board this weekend for the Smackdown. If you make it that way then be sure to tell Pat or Patrick that I sent you.

See everyone tonight!
