Re: MUST attend races in the mid-west

The best races I've seen the last couple years have been the Herald & Review 100 @ Macon(on a Wednesday night, usually right before Sprint Week starts).
The Icebreaker @ Brownstown is usually pretty good.
SprintWeek race @ Brownstown was awesome.
Although I haven't attended the North/South 100 @ Florence, it's on my list.
Of course, the World 100 @ Eldora.
I don't think I've seen a bad midget & micro show @ Belle-Claire Speedway.

Re: MUST attend races in the mid-west

Little 500 is a must see for me every year, if you haven't been then you need to add it to the list. Kokomo Klash is usually very good but this year was outstanding. Other than that about any USAC or weekly sprint car show is a good bet. Also I love midgets at the Speedrome and am looking for to USAC National series there this year. For fenders check out the 3 hour Figure 8 championship at the Speedrome and ARCA at Salem.
