Think I"ll try making the lomg haul (12 miles) tonight. I have a feeling we"re going to have another as Jerry Shaw says Instant Classic :8: The track will be multi groove and fast tacky, the big name drivers will be there, SO where will you be? :6:

If by chance rain does interfere with this, they previously scheduled a rain date for this race, tomorrow Oct 8th.

Currently raining at the track.

Sitting in backstretch parking lot right now and it's coming down pretty hard.

Finally eased off and sun is peeking out. Talking with Tom, it's still iffy if this gets in tonight.

I was told Tom was going to try and work the track.... than make a decision. Any word?

Rained out until tomorrow

The rain date is for tomorrow. Early start time again. Everything is bumped up an hour like today. With qualifying at 5:00 and racing at 6:30 CENTRAL TIME.

Going to have 4 in the fluff after the colts game to make it back in time !!

Hope you didn't pay too much for Colts tickets.LMAO

Not really 90 dollars sitting in a corner in the 2nd tier. Honoring Peyton good reason to go.

So many tracks nowadays throw in the towel if it rains and don't have a rain date in place. Thanks Tom for rescheduling. The Class Track describes it perfectly.

Raindates can be risky. I would bet Gas City lost 35 grand rescheduling SprintWeek. Wish I could go but am on call the rest of the week, and have been unable to get anyone to cover me. I have never seen a bad crowd at Haubstadt and hope they have a good one tonight. Should be a good field of cars.
