Re: RIP Jason Souderette...
REALLY Sad to hear this news. Our prayers are with Jason and his Family. He learned how to wheel a 410 Sprint in a hurry and, as high a compliment as we can pay, was a real "pain in the butt" on the track. Sometimes it is just too hard to comprehend things like this; its been a real tough year in the Sprint car ranks. Our deepest condolences.

Jason was a great guy on and off the track. He will surely be missed. He fought so hard for so long. We will always admire him for his fight and his smile. Keep on keeping on Jason!

Re: RIP Jason Souderette...
Terrible news. I was hoping to hear something more about Jason's recent trip to the hospital and stop in to see him again. My prayers go out to Angie and his family. :(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPpWjzFHya0#t=14 For those who may not know it Jason was also a talented musician as well. He was a member of a local Cincinnati bluegrass band called the Tillers, a band that drew some acclaim outside our fair city. Jason left the band a few years back to focues more on racing. |

Correct me if I'm wrong Jerry but didn't Jason win the Rookie of the year award with AMSA. But that wasn't enough he also won the season championship the same year. God has a plan and I guess Jason is part of it. Bill Jones |

Re: RIP Jason Souderette...
Have to admit when I came in from working in the Man Cave (Garage) and read this on FB. My Heart Broke.
Met him briefly several times at the track but he was out of the hospital for a short time during the Hoffman Fish Fry and I talked with him a bunch and you could tell right away how likable and positive he was about the whole thing. Even talked about maybe if things went well having the car out for a race or two by end of the year *With a different driver*. Anyway kept track of things, attended the benefit at the Burg and participated and many family and friends were there *Including Racing Family* and I'm sure not just himself but others were helped by including http://bethematch.org/ as I seen several people getting tested as possible Marrow Donors. He had the Transplant and things seemed to be going pretty good and then I didn't hear anything till about Halloween when he posted a pic of himself being back in the *CLINK* But said it wasn't a relapse but complications. Hadn't heard anything till I seen the tributes on FB Today :( All My sympathy's to the family, and prayers of comfort to them and his close friends. Chuck, also sending prayers for Bill Gardner and everyone battling some form of the C word.:22: |
