Dale Earnhardt , Sr. Grave Site Location Discussed

Someone was asking today if we knew where Dale Earnhardt , Sr. was buried.

Being aware that our family knew Dale it was thought that we would know something of the undisclosed location of his burial site.

The location is on property owned by Dale Earnhardt , Inc. in Mooresville , NC and quite some distance from the DEI GarageMahal.

You can view the site from this satellite imagery. The link is :

http://www.satellite-sightseer.com/i...rdt_grave_site

What you are seeing is a large fenced area , evergreen trees lining the inside perimeter , a gate entry and walkway to the monument.

I have always been very disappointed in Teresa that she chose to keep Dale hid away from the millions who loved him. I think Dale is dis-satisfied , too , with this and a lot more.

Take a look at this soleum location in a field and then make a mental comparison to what fans of Elvis have in Graceland.

Your thoughts appreciated ...

Here is a thought for all, maybe she is respecting his wishes by having it this way:idea:

What is selfish about privacy. Let the man RIP.

If I recall... Sr. was an avid hunter... Looks like he found a nice place for it.

IMO... the people that are selfish are the fans(fanatics) that think Dale Sr.'s burial site is something they should be allowed to go visit. I kinda understand family wanting to visit but FANS??? That just seems crazy to me.

If you've ever seen Jim Morrison's grave, you would understand Bill's thoughts on this matter.

Exactly. Even the most well meaning individuals would turn it into some kind of circus. Let him go.

Where are Adam and Kenny's graves located?

The disapointing thing is how they exploited his death and forgot about the others
