1977 - AJ Foyt in a Coyote car with a Foyt engine

Most recently in 1992 Al Unser, Jr. won with a Galmer car with a Chevrolet. The Galmer was made in the USA but Chevy was having engines produced in England.

I almost said Unser Jr. in '94 but then I remembered that those cars had pushrod Mercedes engines in them.
