Re: KOKOMO SPEEDWAY SUNDAY JULY 7th
By the way...this was my first time at Kokomo. And I gotta say, videos don't do this place justice. If you've never been...it's real simple...GO. It's worth it. That is all.

Really good race with Ballou and Windom. A great victory lane interview by Robert Ballou. Very gracious and thanking people for bringing all the kids out.

Re: KOKOMO SPEEDWAY SUNDAY JULY 7th
It was a great finale to my weekend which consisted of 5 straight nights of sprint cars and midgets. 2 nights each of racing at my favorite sprint and midget tracks,Kokomo and Little Belleville. Wish I could do that every week!
I thought Ballou had given the race away to Windom when he changed lines, and then Windom got around him,but he didnt give up ,and got back around Windom for the win. Just a really good night of racing. |

Re: KOKOMO SPEEDWAY SUNDAY JULY 7th
Thanks to Kokomo again for another great nite of racing and to Reese and his crew who keeps the track race ready each week! Good runs for Wes Mac for his feature win he was definately up on the wheel and for Bland who we don't see much of at Kokomo but I don't know why, with two 4th place Feature finishes. Hated to see both Vanderweerds have bad nites, R.Vanderweerd was in the mix with Ballou and Windom before he jumped the cushion . But what can you say about the Madman, what a show!
