I love the pictures that have the fans expressions in the background that are clear enough to see. I got a few good chuckles out of it. Now in no way am I laughing about the car in the wreck. I hope the guy was ok.

The dust was bad. No doubt about that. But, through the dust, there was a race that was better than either Lawrenceburg race or the one at Gas City. As I eluded to before, watching JCJ knife through traffic was like watching an artist at work. And the battle for third that went on between Cottle and Hockett was an excellent one. Let's hope they get the dust problem fixed. This is a big, wide track, with a nice facility, really good hosts and a picturesque backdrop. As long as they can keep it from being like you're living in a John Steinbeck novel, it's a very comfortable place to see a race.

This shot is fantastic but the dust you see flying up isn’t from the track itself. He flipped over the wall onto the grass/dirt platform where the old pavement track used to be and that is what is throwing the dust up. Granted the track was exceptionally dusty, it wasn’t too bad during qualifying. It was great to see him get out under his own power in a very nasty flip.

I will be proposing the addition of 5 more sprint races for national points at Kamp this year!!! (Sorry there are no emotiocons on the mobile version of IOW)

Thanks to all who offered congratulations and espically those who braved the dust/rock storm last night.

I think I actually saw that guy at a NASCAR race. He made that same face when Jr. crashed:O: Yes, I've been to a NASCAR race and will probably go again:doh: I think you're probably right about the dust at B-ton. I hope we're not jinxing it:icon_smile_blackeye
