I just got back to hotel from visiting Flatrightrear aka Tom Fisher. He seemed to be in great spirit as we talked for bout a half hour, it was a nice visit as we talked laughed and cried. Please keep Tom in your thoughts and prayers too. Thank you :8:

Finally got a chance to read through the whole tread. Our thoughts and prayers of course go out to Jim but we would also like to send our thoughts and prayers out to Tom Fischer. Tom you have the Lord on your side and he determines everything. Keep fighting the good fight and praying to the Almighty for strength and stamina to get through all the treatments with flying colors and beat the big C. God Bless, Tom!!

Thank you all for the heartfelt sentiments. God is good and His Will be done. I pray Jim's surgery went well today and will keep praying for him to recover. May God bless you all and watch over you always. Tom

I received an update from Jim's family and was given permission to post.

As of 4:30pm, Jim was in the recovery room. Surgery went very well. It wasn't as involved as originally anticipated. He will be at IU Med Center until at least Saturday or Sunday. He's in room 5819 but shouldn't have guests before Thursday.

The doctor said he is doing really well this evening and resting comfortably.

That's awesome to hear!!! Great news..
