Re: Favorite Race of the Year
"The Burton deal". Pretty disrespectful way to refer to a memorial race also. Just my opinion. :(

And remember this, you will NOT be missed, please go, leave, be gone, bonehead😠Bob

Re: Favorite Race of the Year
I agree with Chris and Jim and, just like them, my user name is my real name. 'Rider's post did serve one useful purpose. It reminds me how much us old-time IOW members miss Bill.

Re: Favorite Race of the Year
Well I love Memorial day weekend.
I watch the 500, then we haul butt over to Champion Speedway in NY to race speedwaybikes for the season opener. We have a few main event wins after the 500 and it makes for a special day. Its a day of contrasts, speed and technology of Indy followed by the most basic racing there is. Hundreds of thousands of fans compared to a few hundred hardcore partiers at speedway. Love it. |
I see my remarks and the original remarks are gone. Sorry for the outburst but being someone who has worked with special needs kids in the past. It just hit close to home when the comments were made.
Thanks to the moderator that cleaned up the thread. |
Re: Favorite Race of the Year
I"d like to apologize to everyone on this site for my remarks earlier but, If someone gets on a special needs person then they will have me getting on them . As Chris also said thanks to the moderator that straightened me and my post out :8:
