Now, if we could just see her race at the ARCA races at the two dirt miles, and Salem, and Toledo, maybe we would know what she really is made of...or maybe not.:11:

I lament the passing of the era when drivers were chosen for their
talent and not the corporate dollars they bring and how attractive they
look on camera. Think about this; were someone with uber deep
pockets able to slip Danica into a non wing sprint car SPEED Channel
would have television coverage contracts in USAC's hands within 24 hours.

How many public speaking and media classes do you reckon Jan Opperman attended? :2:

Jack, I totally agree with you, pretty faces with limited driving ability that have big pocket books is not good for any forms of racing. the jury to me is still out on Danica in stock cars but from what I have seen she has been able to hold her own in an indy car. I am waiting for the time to come back around that car owners put a good car together ,puts a quality young driver that has successfully won races at a lower div. and gives him a chance. There are young drivers out there that Drive the heck out of a car and can show up in a boardroom the next day and give a professional presentation to. However to many are getting passed over for $$$$$$$$$$$. Danica in Woo car at Knoxville would be very interesting , but Ithink she could handle it.:16

Just be thankful...it could be worse. The network could put DW and
his "can't shut up brother" Michael on together on the same broadcast.
That would really make you sick. Lets see how Danica does this
Saturday in the Nationwide race. I think they run just a bit closer and in bigger packs than the ARCA cars do.

It is just a shame when ANY one takes the deserved limelight away from the winner just for getting sixth place. Especially a record breaking victory! :14:
By the way.... who won again?:17::3:
