The not returning to the track rule definatly needs to be changed. Pay all that money to come race then not get to is just a waist of a racers time and efforts.

I also can't understand not being able to add fuel? Whats that all about?:confused:

When did Lawrenceburg become a drug mecca? I had my car searched for drugs during Sprint Week, because a dog said so.(I do not know if it was a 2 or 4 legged dog)

I drink my fair share of beer and a lot of my friends do too, but nobody gets out of hand. Where is the problem here?

I would like to hear from a responsible party from the City of Lawerenceburg explain the actions of their gestapo.

Perhaps the answer to your questions may be better answered by contacting someone from the city. http://www.lawrenceburg-in.com/contact.html I don't know this for sure but I am guessing that there were more police on duty for sprint week and the "out of control race fans" let them down so a few officers were looking for something to do. Sorry about your negative experience at Lawrenceburg, I attend races there regularly and have not experienced or seen anything like this occur when I have been there. I did see a fight break out between two women in the grand stands, but the staff broke it up before it got interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing a good cat fight. Drugs at Lawrenceburg? I haven't seen it but then again I haven't been looking for it. I would be willing to bet that half the fans in the stands are on drugs, like cholesterol and or blood pressure medications.

Wasn't there a big melee in the pits last year at Funfest and the police were called in to investigate? Also wasn't there a fight this year besides the one mention involving the 2 ladies (I used that term loosely as ladies wouldn't be involved in this kind of behavior). When you bring attention to yourself like so then the police will become involved especially on property owned by the city.

Yeah, me too....unless you get there first. Oh well, I still have my HARF. BTW, do you have any idea of the start time, hots, etc. I didn't find anything on their site so I sent an e-mail but haven't received an answer.

I can think of two reasons why ticket prices will be higher this weekend compared to Oct. 4th.
* higher sanctioning fees
* better payoff top to bottom=bigger purse

I know what it SAYS, but what will it actually be?

(I'm just wonderin cause I think there will be people who'll ***** about having to run 50 laps; hopefully, track management doesn't cave to those people.)
