Another excellent day in Kokomo as far as the weather is concerned. Trailer loaded stopping at woody's for ice then to the track to save the Hazen #57 and Scott Benic a spot, once there the trailer will not move until Sunday.

Here is a little word of wisdom, Somebody stole the U.S.A.C. flag from the pit grandstands you are caught as the camera has you plain as day, yes the Kokomo Speedway has cameras all over the grounds. Return the flag somehow to the U.S.A.C. trailer or the track itself and you will see the best racing anywhere in the United States no questions ask if you dont I am pretty sure you are going to miss Saturdays Smackdown.

The camper area has a few more spots and We are the first trailer parked in the pits AKA my home for the next four days as I am sleeping in the bunk in the trailer :)

Please remember to support our sponsors and keep Halfmoon on your list of places to eat, be safe and use your head as this could be a great weekend if we do things with a little common sense.

Downtown Kokomo has a lot to offer as does the rest of Kokomo so get out and enjoy it during the day.

Hotlaps, qul.Heats,C-B-A main done in plenty of time to make it home or go to the party in the parking area. Keep in mind The staff at the Kokomo Speedway keeps things rolling along and there has been times we have been home by dark.

Now this line up is off the top of my head so maybe someone can be a little better at what the lineups are.

Hold them close and tell them you love them every chance you get.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY FORMAT
QUALIFICATIONS-All cars qualify, two laps run consecutively with the faster counting as the official time.
10-LAP HEAT RACE 1-Cars qualifying 1,5,9,13,17,21,25,29,etc. with top-six inverted. Cars finishing 1 through

10-LAP C FEATURE-If car count exceeds 40, C Main will be run. Remaining Heat Race non-transfers not locked into Semi, lined up straight up by qualifying time. If D Main is run, 16 are locked into C Main, remaining cars run D Main. Cars finishing 1 through 4 transfer to Semi-Feature.
12-LAP SEMI-If car count is below 41, all cars lined up straight-up by qualifying time. If C Main is run, top-16 qualifying non-transfers, straight-up by time, plus C Main transfers. Cars finishing 1 through 6 transfer to Feature.
30-LAP FEATURE-22 starters. Transfers from Heats and Semi start straight-up by qualifying times, with the ex-ception that the fastest 6 transfers from Heats start 1-6, inverted by qualifying time. Points shall be accrued from both Thursday & Friday to line up Saturday. Points are awarded for Qualifying, Heat Races, and all Mains.


SATURDAY FORMAT
Top 8 in cumulative points are locked into Feature Event. King of the Hill will determine lineup. 10-LAP QUALIFYING RACE 1-Point-earners 9,13,17,21,25,29,33,37,41,45,49, etc. start straight-up. Finishers 1-2 transfer to Feature, Finishers 3-6 transfer to Semi, Finishers 7-10 transfer to C Main, Finishers 11 and up go to D Main.
10-LAP QUALIFYING RACE 2-Point-earners 10,14,18,22,26,30,34,38,42,46,50, etc. start straight-up. Finishers 1-2 transfer to Feature, Finishers 3-6 transfer to Semi, Finishers 7-10 transfer to C Main, Finishers 11 and up go to D Main.

40-LAP FEATURE-King of the Hill cars line up 1-8 in order of finish/rank. Qualifying Race transfers start 9-16 straight-up by finish. Semi transfers start 17-22 in order of Semi Finish.
