Nice recovery by Bland spins on lap 17 and still finishes 12th.

Hey Shortbus and Ron Miller where were you at the finish. We looked down about halfway through and you were gone

I'm telling you right now, Jesse Cramer is gonna be tough in the very near future, maybe the best up and comer since Clauson.

John,

I headed for the car when the rain started; it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Stanbrough had it in the bag. The modified feature finish was a thriller, which made up for the lackluster sprint feature. I wasn't aware that the storm sirens were going off while I was at the track. I didn't experience any rain or storms on my way home, and only a few sprinkles before I left the track at 8:22PM(CDT). There was a lot of lightning to the north as I was driving through Montgomery and I could see lightning in my rearview mirror as I was traveling between Shoals and Loogootee. By the time I reached Washington, the National Weather Service was issuing a severe storm warning for most of the area I had just driven out of. When I got back to Evansville, it was bone dry and HOT.
I really shouldn't say the sprint feature was lackluster, but Stanbrough had the field covered for the win. As stated above, Jesse Cramer was exciting to watch and Jeff Bland Jr. really stands on it, too.
