That BARC member is none other than Ray Chaike, USAC flagman for many years. Ray attended our meeting last night and committed to the 2008 event! It will be at the 'Burg for sure, subject to the continued hospitality of Dave and crew.

My only request is to make the IOW night during a hole in the USAC schedule so that we will be able to participate. I cannot think of anything better than promoting IOW and the Burg.

I consider the Burg to be my home track as it is only 45 minutes from the race shop and my first win as a sprint car crew chief came at the Burg 20 years ago!!

That was my idea when suggesting August 2nd. USAC sprints run the next day at Salem.:thumb:
