Re: Gas City Updates?
Thanks for the updates! Boy, I sure wish Bloomington had a race tonight. Such a beautiful evening and no racing within reasonable driving distance.

Re: Gas City Updates?
Glad to here that Crankin is OK. It sure took them awhile to get him out of the car, had us a little worried. The track was heavy and FAST all night long. At the start Shuman passed a bunch of cars, probably up to 11th or 12th from the last row then leveled off there. Stanbrough didnt really do much until the last 7 or 8 laps and ended up around 8th or 9th. Thrilling finish between Puterbaugh, Short and Darland wish it could have gone on a few more laps. Thanks to Jiggs and the crew for a great season! Oh yeah, would someone please go dig out the old red 10E!!

Re: Gas City Updates?
You just gotta take your hat off, to Puterbaugh, tonight. The last ten laps he was wearing Darland and Short, like a cheap suit and refused to give in. Congrats on a great run.
Good job by Jiggs and his crew, also. Gas City is a different track then it was just a couple of months ago. It's an uncommon move to resurface a track in the middle of the racing season. One that paid off, in this case. Jerry |
