Re: Bob darland memorial updates

I'm thinking if Justin stays in the Hery #40 much longer, Mark is going to have to build a big trophy shelf, and reinforce it! :2:

Way to go Justin!!! You've really been 'puttin it on em', lately! :6:

I'd say that was the best 9 car (eventually only 5 car) midget feature I've seen. Great drive DD and very impressive drive by Taylor ferns. I think she would have gotten back by had she not spun!

Grant won sprint feature but Chris Windom was the show tonight from the rear to 2nd place finish & comin hard.:31: Midgets were fantastic the race between DD & Taylor Fern. She rode that horse for everything it had then looped it when the engine balked on her.:18: But b4 that she was on the cushion standin on the throttle givin Dave a run for his money. Saw Darland talking w/ her when I walked up. It was a great night I wasn't going to go but my friend was up from FL w/ wife so I went.
Night was not w/o controversey: Jamie Fredrickson was removed from the track after his so called 2nd yellow (actually red).:14: Kokomo rules state must not pass a flipped car or accident scene. It also states you cannot get out of your car, if you do your DQ'd. A driver flipped AT A PREVIOUS RACE got out of his car got back in & finished the race. :15:Kokomo goofed.:7:

Great night until we packed the wheel full of mud. Thank you Kokomo for giving us another great track to race on, thanks to the fans for being so supportive and thank you to all our sponsors for helping us get thru another night of racing.

It was a race for second tonight, Justin Grant had it going on. Great night of racing at Kokomo as always, amazing track prep considering the conditions we have been through (no rain, heat, and bright sun)...again. Now depression sets in, no racing again until September.
