My point was that it benefits neither party to pull a trigger because the potential price paid then is far more than whatever dollar amount the engine is valued at.

The detective investigating the case is Detective Vaughn and the phone number is 317-327-3736. Give him a call and let him know about you experiences with this engine builder and to help out Bill & Rob.

Unreal. Hey Yokel, I got a bridge I want to sell you!

I consider Rob one of my best friends, and know him pretty well. No I wasn't there, but knowing him as I do, I am very confident that his only mistake was going in the first place.... Even the fact that he went, though it looks wrong, I know that he felt he was just helping out a buddy.
Rob can be a little rough around the edges, but that just adds to his charm.

He is excellent at turning on "Mr. Cop", and then turning it off. My point being is that he is a total pro as a cop, and knows when, and WHEN NOT to use it!!! I am very, VERY confident that he did not go in there being a cop! He went in as a buddy to help out with Mr. Throckmorton's deal. The cop part was forced to come out when this deal turned sour!

Now if for some remote chance that this goes further south for Rob than it already has, I will still stand by my words, because I know Rob has great character.. And as his friend, I will stand by him. We ask that others on this board will do the same. We also hold hope that the folks looking into this will see the light, and see that his only mistake was being there.

Hey don't get me wrong I know Rob's an alright guy. I was just sayin' that, on duty or not, he's still a cop and he could have exercised better judgement by calling the local police to help sort out the matter instead of letting it get out of hand. If in fact he was in attendence for all of this, letting them take the motor was a big mistake, regardless of whether or not money was owed.

It's a bad deal for a friendship to end like this, but you could see it coming....... I know for a fact that engine has been at "CS" for ATLEAST 2 years. I watched a young woman take it apart to help "speed" things up..... I also know that Billy wanted that engine LAST year (for a spare) and never got it.

Just remember, things in that article could be blown out of proportion. The words "Armed Robbery" makes great headlines for a local newspaper......

I cannot see the OWNER of that engine taking it without paying for it, that's just BS in my opinion.
