Re: Gas City
Friday was very dissapointing...UNTIL they re-worked the track before the B main. The semi and the feature were Excellent! I left wanting more so I'll be back for Sprintweek.

Re: Gas City
I thought it was great that gas city took the time to make the track better for the feature the work payed off it was a great race and saturday at lawrenceburg it was great all night long. Now has for the posts about haubstadt track prep they can completely redo the track in twenty minutes if it took them has long has the other poster said the 1.5 it had to be the night it rained in early afternoon down there and they was still able to work on the track to get it ready for the show the same night as most tracks would have just called the race and not even tried to get the show in.Has for everyone else already moaning about last weekend to start the season get a freaking life nothing is perfect and I for one once again say thanks to the tracks and there workers for giving us a place to watch what we enjoy and smell the alky in the air it is now racing season buckle up and enjoy lets go wfo.

Re: Gas City
That the Gas City track personnel acknowledged the conditions and got it right is the ultimate moral of the story. Too many other tracks give what they give you, and that's IT. It is a mark against them that they didn't seem to have put much effort into the pre-race prep, but it is in their favor that not only did they try to correct things, they DID correct things. It was a long wait, but for those able to remain it was worthy action. It would stand to reason that the track personnel will focus more preparation on the days leading up to the events for the upcoming races this season. If that be the case, one long, drawn-out intermission on the debut weekend will recede from memory.
