Yes we are spoiled down here and we like it. :applaud:

We like it alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!! True we are spoiled with track prep with tracks Like Tri-State & B-town . but is it too much to ask for a decent announcer or pa system???!!!!.. i can't say that it was the worst announcer I've ever heard ,because I didn't hear anyone at all!!!!!!!!! I went back to the pits after heat races to find out who was driving what car ... then, I still don't know why Darland & Balou were in the B???? However decent racing and hopefully my voice will recover for the opening weekend at Bloomington,

Given the situation with the weather, and the make up features I think mason and staff did a great job...Didnt everyone race on the same track...? -Andy

I don't have a lot of tolerance for slick dusty tracks but, I've seen much worse and the racing was excellent. I have no complaints (for once!!:O:). I also want to thank the Short family for their contribtution to the sport.

Getting to see 2 sprint features was great, Bland from the rear for the win was exciting to witness. The sprint $3000 feature was a good one and seeing Clauson and Mezzerall battling for the win on the last lap going into turn 3 was priceless. Darland from 18th to 2nd and Slammin' Scotty Hampton in 5th was awesome too! Congrats to Faas for the win.

Thanks to Don Short for sponsoring the big money show and thank you Twin Cities for a night of sprint car racing when there wasn't any happening anywhere else in Indiana. I truly felt like the people working/running the place have a passion for racing not just the money. Please keep the passion and the money will come anyway.

Also Kenny Schrader thought the racing was good, at least thats what he said.

I will have to agree with SPD 37 i was there. the team i work for wasnt there and i'm glad we werent. i too drove all the way from up north to watch a great race and turns out the track was crap. and the wonder why USAC quit showing up for sprintweek. The support clases needs to be kept to a min of at least 3 when the sprints are in town look at bloomington or gas city those kinda tracks 3 clases weekly and when its a big sprint show they run just 1 other class. well SPD 37 hopefully we'll get to see you up north like gas city the 17th

Darland and Ballou were in the b due to not having the correct right rear tire on and they blew by the check point

Actually it was stated in the drivers meeting that the top 3 or 4 finishers had to cross the scales for a tire check, Darland, Ballou and Westerfield didn't and I believe this was why they were sent to the Bmain.

I was not there, but Memmer must have been out of control and totally disregarding any actions of track officials for this to happen.

Apparently you werent at bloomington last year when darland was told to go to the tail then stopped on the track to ask why and they sent him packing, no offense to him or anyone involved, they did however tell us at the drivers meeting that they wanted us in line after one full pace lap, and anyone out of line "hot lapping" would be DQ'd.

I had no complaints about the track conditions... my eye however had other thoughts lol, I thought for as much rain and such, the track was really smooth, and I completely agree with Don Short, whats the point in going to a race and watching a hot lap session all night, sure its cool to watch us go fast, but I would rather be able to pass instead of driving around wide open
