I am with you and hope their is compliance. I would like to think the race fan could show they can do this but I am less hopeful. My IMW race I attended was much like your recent race. We stopped for some curbside pickup before the race and the restaurant was all about safety masks, distance gloves wait outside etc. we get to the track walk through the gates and you would think you time warped to a land before virus. I was disappointed in my fellow fans, the track and the sanction.
My guess is the mask will be up for entry then come off only to be put back on to be served a beer or hot dog. If its what we got to do then lets do it. its a small price to pay whether its need or not. If all goes well maybe we can race later into the fall and it will help bring warmth on a cold night. |
