Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
I have to agree. I'm sure its what made me sick & then I ended up missing the final at Tri-State! I can tolerate some but not raining dirt. Thats the way Kamp/Boswell county used to be.
My health is more important. |
My dad texted me 22 instead of 11c. Sorry

Obviously Diggsy, if you think that drinking mud and returning home filthier than Pigpen is good racing, maybe you should spend a couple hundred bucks and go to one of these craptracks and enjoy yourself. |

Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
There's not a track in the state prepared or maintained throughout the nite like Haubstadt. Its a balls out track all nite long and thats why guys like Clayton, Fitz Bros., Hunter and Bro are hard to beat there. Been to Kokomo and all the others, like em all, but none compares to Tri-Statespeedway. JMO

24 cars in the B? What happened to the USAC format of running a non qualifyer and taking the top 4 out and tagging one each to the back of one of the 4 heats?

Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
Man, Hughes can't catch a break. Wreck last night, get last years car ready today and something happen today.

Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
started 10 in each heat, only 4 transferred. leaves 6 (times 4) for semi, That is the magic 24 !!

Any truth to the rumor that a USAC employee was escorted off the property by the police?:31:

Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
sw1911, you wont be disappointed. I forgot to mention, Clausen and Short are outstanding there. It will be one heck of a show from hot laps on.

I guess brady fell back to seventh at one point then hit the highside and was gone after that

Re: brownstown ISW sprintweek race #5
Maybe thats what it takes to have an awesome race track all nite. What i've noticed over the years, once the track goes to crap, you got crap rest the nite. Tri State dons't let that happen. I'll take the tractors to see the racing Haubstadt provides every time I go.

"QUALIFYING RACES When the total number of cars qualified is 37 or more, a Qualifying Race may be held for cars qualifying 33 and higher, starting straight up by qualification order. Cars finishing 1 through 4 will start behind qualified cars in the heats. Added Heat Race starters from the “Qualifying Race” are eligible for the Semi Feature and will line up according to the official qualification time. When the total number of qualified cars is 48 or more a second qualifying race will be held. Cars qualifying in odd numbers starting with 33 will comprise qualifying race #1. Cars qualifying in even numbers starting with 34 will comprise qualifying race #2. Starting position will be based on qualifying starting straight up. Qualifying race winners and 2nd place finishers will start 9th in heat races, finishers 3rd and 4th will start 10th. These cars will also be eligible for the semi feature and will start according to qualifying time." ---------- Post added at 10:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:26 PM ---------- the first 2 heats had 11 cars in them, accounting for 24 in the b main I think 42 cars is the cut off for not running a non qualifiers race I cant see usac starting more then 24 in the b main |

If a car had no time like Hunter did last night, then that does not count as a Qualified Car per the USAC entry form. |
