Re: bloomington updates

It was a crazy night at Btown last night. The old red clay really bit some guys, tore up alot of nice equipment unfortunately. A very nasty flip in turn one, extreme elevation by Justin Grant. That one had to hurt, hope and pray he is OK. After a great run in his heat Kyle Cummins got a break to move to the front row after the first lap spins. Then on the next restart Scotty Weir hit the inside cushion and darted to the outside and caused Kyle to jump the cushion and got all the way back to 8th. He took a easy flip a few laps later, no major damage to the frame, just some bolt on's. He kept his point lead, and will back again tonight to try for the 10G's at TSS. Congrats to Jon, he is tough to beat on a track like that.
After witnessing a couple drunks throw several punches a few rows behind me, I remembered why I hate alcohol so much. They were at a event where you had 65 of the greatest non wing sprint cars in the country, on a very challenging track, and they chose (or at least one of them) to ruin their night. One needing a dentist I believe, and the other will need some bail money when he sobers up, I thought that is what bars were for. Dude we are at a race track where you got guys pushing their equipment to the limit, crazy crashes, and tough racing conditions and that ain't enough for some people, they gotta get drunk and stupid. And now for a public service announcement... Please for the sake of the rest of us fans, and the rest of the general public,if you choose to drink, please don't drink and drive. Please use a designated driver, call a cab, something. We all want to go home at the end of the night, so we can enjoy another night of great racing.

Had a good night of racing at B'ton. Lot of good cars going home. Tough to make it thru loaded heats with a draw start on a short tracky track. Cushion ending up biting quite a few guys. Most race cars I have seen at a single race in a long time. Made the trip up from E'ville w/ fellow IOW er Ronmil. Got to meet Shortbus, Sprint Man Dave, and David Lynch. Nice to meet you guys. Thanx again Ron. Cappachino got me fired up. Will do again some time.

Thanks for the updates, looks like I missed some great racing last night, Cottle from 20th to finish 4th, looking at the list of drivers missing the show, WOW. The B mains line ups would have made for a good feature race.

It was like we had 3 features, except 2 of them were only 12 laps. Way To Go STANBROUGH

Anyone know anything about Justin Grant? He is a great kid, 100% class and I pray everything is OK.

Sounds like it was a hell of a night. Congrats to Team Foxco! Ending the season on a high note.:6:

Was the Frolic rocking last night?

Bring out the flags and let them run 2 laps for a starting spot. Pill draw is terrible. Its luck of the draw let the racers race for their starting spot.

Just an opinion - Some will like it some won't

Not exactly sure how he is doing today but I know he was back at the track last night halfway through the A main.

We were supposed to have eight cars start the Mod B but only seven made the call. only starting 20 cars in the feature.

1st B should be Shuman, he was in the Epperson car and thats probably what caused the confusion
