Why would they start and park? I believe they got some money for no A main last year. I always read how screwed up USAC is on this board. To suggest pissing the fans off with that start and park crap only makes the teams look bad as well. Last years situation sucked no doubt let's not compound the problem with that type of thinking. Had they not run B last year(since everybody qualified) there would have been enough time to run the A. The notion that the teams will do this is aggravating and will do nothing to help their image and product.

These guys are racers and it's not NASCAR where you can make 50k by starting and parking. Even if it's only 3k to win these guys will race for $50 as long as they are racing. |
