We started when I still lived in Arkansas, continued while I lived in Illinois, and still now that I live in Houston, TX.

I still work in Arkansas occasionally, so I'm able to schedule my work there for the three or four days between ISW shows, and the drive isn't too bad (Kokomo to LR around 10-11 hours). If you want to stay, the Speedway museum is cool and the shops around Gasoline Alley and Brownsburg are usually buzzing with activity, and some don't mind visitors.

Warning, though - Once you go the first time you'll never want to miss it. It's extremely addicting.

Thanks. Im in Hot Springs, so it would be about an 11-12 hr drive. Im seriously considering going. I will just wait for the schedule to come out.
Thanks again

What Tim left out is that he was up close and personal for ISW. Tim and his son, Jake, were at every event with our team helping on the car in the pits and at the motels in the morning. I can't begin to thankthem enough for all the hard hours of work they devoted to our winning effort. I am a little upset Tim was not in the Kamp victory lane photo but I believe he did make the Bloomington victory lane photo.

The secod half of ISW was pretty interesting as we had 3 father/son combos working on the car. Only somebody that has gone racing with their father or son can understand where I am on this!! :rolling

Rob,

Thanks for your kind words. I had a blast during ISW and am humbled that you'd think I was any help at all - I was just happy to be around.

By the way IOW folks - It is indeed possible to put six grown men into a 2008 Chevy Malibu, with four of them riding in the back seat.

Where theres a will, there's a way.

Thanks again

Tim Simmons
