Pretty sure the pit grandstand area still is a Gen Admission area. Sun's in your eyes for the first hour or so but I've sat over there many times.

Your a lot closer to the track than the main grandstand except at the bottom.

Best popcorn than any movie theater and only $2.00 for a good size bag!
