James,

I am really late getting in this evening and the first post I see is yours. So very sorry for your loss.:13: Your work is a tribute to your father, your biggest fan.

I lost my father 54 years ago next month to the big C. That dreaded disease seems to strike so many of our families and friends. RacinBabe & I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Hang tough.

Poem I've had, sorry about losing your Dad

Don't grieve for me now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call
I turned my back & left it all

I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play
Task left undone must stay that way
I've found that place at the close of day

If my parting left a void then fill it with remerbered joy
A friendship shared a laugh, a kiss, these things to I will miss

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life's been full I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don not lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now,,,,,,, he set me free:22:

James, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and your Dad's friends. You have my deepest condolences. Lost my dad to cancer in 1999 and like so many other IOW members he introduced me to the sport we all love, that passion was then pasted on to my daughter and now to my two small grandsons..

Know your pain James, praying and hoping the pain and suffering you are feeling now will be replaced with the fond memories of your time spent with your Dad.

R.I.P. Angus! Enjoy meeting the rest of our Dad's at that racing venue in the sky.

Patti
