Hey Guys!, my understanding is that Saturday is the Rapture, not the end of the world.....only the "Good" are going to be pulled up to the Eternal Bliss in the sky and only the A-holes will be left here on earth.....so guys, what are we going to do after the good ones are gone?? Is there a party anywhere???:2:

planning on having a pole-day party up here in michigan. those of us left here at 6:05 will be watching the horse race and then probably the stock cars later while getting the van ready for 5 glorious days in Indy.

Anyone know if there will be live streaming or updates of this event? Don't forget to close all windows and shades. Turn off gas, water and electric. Cancel phone, cable and newspaper delivery. Put out extra food for pets. And no on-street parking.

If roads being washed away and flooding from heavy rain are leading up to this event that is what Oneida County in N. Y. dealt with yesterday. The Southern Tier south of Syracuse is experiencing heavy rain and flash flooding at this posting. Saturday the sun is suppose to shine, time to fire up the engines for an open preactice at the Big O; world can't end it is finally time to go racing in Oswego.

Which reminds me of a story I was told by a co-worker back in the '60s. He and his wife were invited to a party at the home of a new neighbor. They had a couple of drinks and some conversation, then had to leave to relieve the baby sitter. The host saw them to the door. As they were headed down the steps, he realized he had left his hat on a table just inside the door. Not wanting to bother anyone, he just opened the door, stepped in and grabbed the hat. As he turned to leave, he heard the host yell, "OK, everyone, the last of the squares has left. Let's get naked." :2:
