I am not an Earnhardt Jr. fan in the least but would be very surprised if NASCAR orchestrated his winning the pole for the Daytona 500. It was clearly evident, however, that his Dad had NASCAR deeply in his pocket and they blatantly exercised that favortism many times and without prior conspiracy.

I would agree with an earlier post that it would be very hard to keep a conspiracy of that magnitude in efect and under wraps. There are many people who would love to uncover something like that for their own benefit. And that goes for all major sports.

I wonder if they fixed it so he would wreck in practice! Good to know while I'm at work all my Facebook friends can report back the inevitable.

I guess they fixed it so JR would crash his car on purpose, and fix it so he has to come all the way though the pack...

I hate it when reality ruins a perfectly good conspiracy theory. Now NASCAR has to remove his restrictor plate completely and hope like hell he doesn’t run over a slower car again…......:31:

the crash yesterday was planned just like everything else....it makes for a better story when he "overcomes" adversity and comes from the back to win..........this hasnt changed anything...nascar WANTS JR to win, but he doesnt have the ability to pull it off even if they "fix" it. he cant stay out of his own way!

Yea..it would have to be fixed if he won in a car owned by Rick Hendrick...I have seen others say it was a conspiracy and fixed so the 48 would win all the time.

Call the FBI, we need to get to the bottom of this. I guess JR is the new conspiracy poster boy. Read this theory.
