Re: Dateline: Terre Haute
Certainly off topic and I apologize, but I think the photo of Pancho in the Indy Car is excellent. Racerdog45 great photo and thanks!

Re: Dateline: Terre Haute
:8:If I were the prep man , I would get on the PA and get some of the older and winnie complainers out and let them PREP the track . and see if they can do better , I know the track is a S--t hole these days , but it has had some of the fastest racing in the last few weeks that it has ever had . I remember the good old days when the cars would get on the brakes and slid from the flagman stand because the track was so dam dry and slick they would run 35 thur the turns and you could not see the cars . Thats TRACK PREP . I'll wait it out any day to see as fast a track as the last 2 races have been , and yes I am old to , but enjoy a fast As- track even if I have to wait a few hours. Complainers go to the FAIR and waste your money on over priced stuff and NO entertainment , blow a couple of hundred dollar at the fair and get nothing out of it . You have just seen a couple of the Fastest races in THAT history as far as speed is concerned. :26:

Hope that does not happen , love the track , they just need someone to get the prep and PR stuff in order . Hope they get it together before they lose to many more fans :22:

Re: Dateline: Terre Haute
I was listening to the radio broadcast of The 500 opening ceremonies.
And the one and only Mike King was concerned because the ceremonies were running 2 minutes late. I find that ironic. |
