Mac,

Rich doesn't build traditional cars, he builds short wheel base east coast modifieds. He built his car with the longest wheelbase allowed for sprinters, which is only a few inches shorter then a champ car. After the springfield wreck, he stretched the wheelbase, larger tail, smaller motor, ta da !, a Champ Dirt car. It was a damn good one at that.

Close... The car had a removable torsion bar rack in the rear of the car, one that was longer for the big car races and one that was short for the sprint car races. The motor plate also moved forward or rear. He ran very very few sprint races witht he car.

The car was also painted just like Toby's car was 25 years before. The sprint tail (35 gallon) is in the EMMR museum.

i like that 10/10 date sat. afternoon of granite city. i'm pretty sure you'd get
atleast a break even crowd even without the fair. how many fairgoers actually pay
25 dollars to get into the race anyway? sargent is singlehandedly ruining silver crown
racing with his horrible track prep and refusal to reshedule anything!
SOMEONE PLEASE TALK MIKE KING AND DAVEY HAMILTON INTO TAKING OVER
THE MILE DIRT RACES FOR THE SILVER COWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
before it's too late. sargent wouldn't know that 10/10 is the perfect date
because granite city isn't a stock car race and that's what he is, a stock car promoter!

According to the website for Track Enterprises the race will not be rescheduled.

Maybe someone from this board could promote it. Surely they would make a ton of money.

Mud Packer, it would be nice to see them put their money where their mouth is.
