I know that Hud is a clean driver and it just didn't look to me like he was in position at the time to pull off a true slide job... and from my vantage point he didn't quite get it done without Urish having to seriously lift (losing 2 positions and half a straight). Those things happen. I was just pointing out what I saw as a fan, pure and simple. Lets move on. I wasn't trying to stir anything up, and Chris' post tells me that my uneducated opinion on the matter was wrong. I'll take Chris' view of it and realize that I just saw some good, hard, but fair non-wing action.

I re-read my post and I guess it was worded a little stronger than I meant it. At the time I was rooting for Hud because he was behind, as I usually root for the pass. It was a VERY entertaining race and both drivers invovled are complete pro's. I wasn't trying to generate any bad blood. Maybe it's because my little boy had the 7x and I had the 77u and that move cost me a coke. I tend to lose my cool with so much on the line. lol, but cherish the chance to make that bet every Friday night just like I did with my dad.

Can't wait to see both of them back at Jacksonville... hopefully brining a few more cars with you next time. And Chris, I have to say that you were HOOKED UP that whole feature. Maybe that was part of it on my end. You were the car to beat Friday and I hated to see you leave without the win.

Bloard: We need more Fathers like you who spend time and take your son to the races. You are far from being uneducated my man. Chris And Hud are both class acts. One question : did your son get his coke lol.:32:

I'm not aware of any fans that are upset. I don't think I ever implied I was upset. I didn't see anyone else in this thread who said they were upset. I go to races without a vested interest, so nothing is going to make me upset. I simply was pointing out what I saw, and as it turns out my observation was wrong. How bout we leave it at that. No one is uspset, and in fact I think most who saw the race were entertained and that's what I pay my money for anyway. No need for drama over this, it wasn't that big of a deal. I'll bite my tongue next time because I wasn't aware it would be taken the way it was. Thanks everyone involved for a great show. Come back... we appreciate you over here.

And yes... he got his coke. Hud also won him one with a great run over at Shepps a few weeks ago. Wish I could get him away from the 7x so I don't go so thirsty, but I think he's found his horse and it's not a bad one to ride. Plus, it's a guy I don't mind him looking up to (thanks Hud) and we all know how important that is.

Just to get things straight, there is no bad blood between Hud and myself either. Hud made a big mistake and took me out. It was an Accident!! It was not on purpose. He admitted his mistake and apologized for it and I accepted that apology. We have all made the wrong move at the wrong time, it just sucked we were running second at the time. Don't think anyone had anything for Chris though.
Hud is a good guy and he probably felt worse than I did after and he won. My kids and wife were in the stands and I really appreciated his apology over the PA for all to hear as well as the personal one he came down to my trailer and gave me. Alot can be forgiven when people act like men and take responsability for their actions. Im just glad to be fast enough to race with good drivers like Hud and Chris. To bad we have to wait 4 weeks to go back but great job to Billy West for a fantastic track.

I was fortunate to race with Hud and Chris many times over the years. both class guys and fine drivers. Never got to race with you Chad, but I can tell you're a class guy too, and a fine racer I've heard. We need as many quality guys as we can get in this sport, here's three.
