It is very simple to disarm your vehicle when you are planning to stay overnight in a hotel on the road. In most vehicles, it is as simple as removing the fuel pump relay or just pulling the crank fuse. This will keep your vehicle from starting and from being stolen. It takes in all about 5 minutes. A little research with your auto technician will be well worth it. And worth the piece of mind that comes with it.

I feel bad for Blake, Shane and Gene. No one deserves to have their stuff stolen, but especially not them. With the kind of investment owners have in the needed equipment to race I can't understand why anyone would not have an alarm system on their trailer.

For the kind of money an owner has to lose, this seems like a cheap investment to protect your stuff. Under a grand and $30 a month for GPS monitoring to help find it.

LoJack could be added,newer vehicles have loran/gps,dispatcher knows where you are 24/7....Keys can't be copied/for dealers ect. but if I got one ..others are out there...we had a deal where a trailer was broken into....a friend located the driving suit hanging in a garage....we worked our way back and recovered most but not all that was stolen..cops didn't seem to concerned..keep you eyes open

Also it is very cheap to have a chip made that you can put under the dash that when pulled out the vehicle cannot be started.

When staying over night we pull the chip and the fuel relay. Cannot be to safe.

Having been down this road before....they will notice a missing fuse...put in a blown one and they might not
